Presenter Guidelines

All presentations should be loaded on the supplied computer (Windows 10) before the beginning of the session.
 
ORAL PRESENTATIONS:
Please prepare slides using PowerPoint or a similar program in widescreen (16:9). We encourage you to use the computer we supply (Windows 10), but you can use your own laptop if you prefer. Titles will be the same as the initially submitted abstract unless you email sheena.darcy@utdallas.edu beforehand. We will be strict on talk timing.
 
50 min Opening/Closing Presentation – 40 min talk + 10 min Q&A
30 min Invited Presentation – 25 min talk + 5 min Q&A
20 min Selected Presentation – 16 min talk + 4 min Q&A
10 min Selected Student Presentation – 7 min talk + 3 min Q&A
 
POSTER FLASH TALKS:
Please prepare no more than 2 slides using PowerPoint or a similar program in widescreen (16:9). You must use the computer we supply (Windows 10). Titles will be the same as the initially submitted abstract unless you email

SESSION CHAIRS:
Please ensure all presenters are ready to present before the session starts. Introduce the speakers, guide the Q&A portion, and reflect at the end of the session. Please keep speakers on time! 

POSTERS:
The poster boards are 91” x 44.5” (7’6”x 3’6”). Please make sure your poster will fit. We will provide supplies to hang posters. There are no on-site facilities for poster printing. Please hang your posters by lunchtime on Monday, April 22, and remove them after the poster session on Tuesday, April 23.
